  • Crispy Critter Update

Finally, the wood's made, the doors&frames are fitted and work really well, the stringgers are on,the cables are run......the fuslage in ready for cover !!!!!Pictures will be added to the gallery as soon as I get them developed and downloaded.I have added a few more pictures to the Gallery,ya'll need to check'em out.
I still need to make the panel for Crispy, purchase some new insturments, attach my new leading edges, and a few other odds and ends but she is really starting to take shape.
I'm on the look for a C-85-8 engine.I prefer something that was still running when removed.Time since major or logs are not that important(data plate is a must)because I plan to major it before it flies on Crispy.I would like to keep the price at or below the $3000 range.Everyone keep an eye out for one please. Thanks,Kevin

PS.Make sure ya check out my new pictures on the Gallery.

    Kevin,
Did you ever get your leading edges in? I'll keep my eyes open for a recently removed C-85. Glad to hear things are coming along.

      Craig,
No,I never got the leading edges promised from the factory.I'm making them myself.I did get a refund......finially.

Your bird looks great,I checked out the photos, nice tailwheel setup. Also looks like a great paint and fabric match up from what I could see.I can't wait to get some of Crispy in flight, hopefully won't be much longer.I'm hoping to have her up by late summer,x-mas at the latest if something else doesn't put another hold on things.
