Re: Alaska pictures
The pictures are scans from photos so not as good as some, Yes I got a moose and it took three trips out of my lake, which is only 2000 feet long, we had a total of 750 lbs with the bone in. Wish I had some of those new 1500 floats, it sure would make a it easier.Wolf Lake Aircraft Services

Re: Alaska pictures
WLAS, sorry to bring you bad news but I think you need to check your wing rigging. From the first photo, it looks like your wings have "wash-in" instead of "wash-out".
This is dangerous from both a flight control/handling and structural loading point of view.
Easily fixed in an hour by screwing the upper ends of the rear wing struts out (lengthen the rear struts).
If I'm wrong then I'm wrong, but those photos show a higher angle of incidence at the tips than at the roots. That is backwards on almost every airplane in existence save for computer controlled drones and 21st Century fly-by-wire fighters.Taylorcraft : Making Better Aviators for 75 Years... and Counting

Re: Alaska pictures
They are scans of pictures, so it could be a slight bend in the original photo. Wouldn't want to risk being wrong about that though.
Looks like you got out during the few nice days that we had this summer. Hope you enjoyed the hunt, and the meat!Catch the fish, to make the money, to buy the bread, to gather the strength, to catch the fish...
