Re: bungee tool
Jim,
Get Dave's tool, period. I have it and another of his for doing Piper hydrasorbs. Both work equally well for the job they're designed for. And the biggie, they're safe. Lot's of long crowbars, homeade tools and other ways to hurt/kill yourself if you do it wrong. With his tool you can do everything on/in the airplane. Takes me less than an hour to do them on a BC12 now. Just did a Pacer with his other tool the other day and it took just over an hour.
CJIf you can read this, thank a teacher....
If you're reading it in english, thank the military

Re: bungee tool
Jim:
Get the tool..it pays for it self. I just did mine last week end and it took about one hour with some help. The tool will save many angry moments, time and who know what more if all those home made tools fail while pulling on those bungies...fingers come to mind ! I kept the two best of the old set of bungies and placed one on top of the two new ones.... it's pretty stiff now...you can feel every bump and it bounces good on landing.
My 2 cents... or maby less now that we are in a recession
Ralph
