  • What' s this shape called?

in my ailerons there were two of these pieces of channel steel, about .035; one about 6" long, the other around a foot. a brace at the ends. I see them again, longer this time on the wings and need to replace one.

In cross section they are three sided, otherwise they'd be square tubing. I don't think this is Rob's Dalstrom stuff. maybe an ID of 3/8".

If I get a name, can I order it from Dillsburg...looking thru their catalog nothing jumps out; or maybe they don't have it.

Suggestions as to what it's called and where to get it? - Mike

    Mike:

Check "piper channel" in Aircraft Spruce. Roughly $1.50 per foot.
