The '47 BC12-D we moved from the Houston area to 1T8 (Bulverde, TX) had a set of wheel pants that had broken fiberglass under the mounting doubler plates. The aluminum mounting castings bolted to the inner gear legs were both broken at various mounting holes. Does anyone know if these castings are available, or if they can be replicated? I am having molds made of the wheel pants so that fiberglass halves can be made. Also, the outer wheel attach pegs were interesting - a steel tube was pressed into the axle ends and the outer end was tapped for a mounting bolt. The axle king nut cotter key ensured security of the tube. The right tube was intact and the left tube was rusted out. This part should be easily replicated. Can anyone share their thoughts on wheel pants? Doc

Re: Wheel pant mounts & hardware
They appear to be copies of the F-19 attach hardware that we used here from 1968 thru 1986 & should be available from the factory.Taylorcraft Foundation, Inc
