  • F-19 On Floats

Does anyone know if there is a gross weight increase when an F-19 is on floats? I have seen documentation for the BC-12D, but can find nothing for the F-19. I just put mine on floats and am having issues keeping it behind the forward CG envelope (16.1) with two passengers at the 1500 gross wt.

Are you sure your floats are mounted right? Can you trim it out? I'm on 1320s witha bc12 85hp and when fuel is low and I've got baggage it takes a bit of forward elevator but alot.

That's the kicker...the plane flies perfectly fine. The CG is good...I'm just having a hard time making it work ON PAPER at the 1500 gross wt. I'm going back to the A&P to have him re-calculate.

Put a Basset hound in the rear baggage or e-mail me direct. I did the paper back then for the tests on floats. give me full details, which aircraft, wts. , floats etc.... [email protected] use your TF# in the message line .

I'm pretty sure that in Alaska, the only C of G you need to calculate is the cost fo gas.
