What is the hookup for the intake air into the exhaust muff? Off the back of the eyebrows? Scoops ala Lyc.? Thanks. H

Re: Open Cowl Cont. Air Intake f/ Carb/Cab. Heat
Howard,
No flooding here, but small surrounding areas usually get it from the smaller rivers.
On the L-2's there are two tubes, one from each eyebrow if I remember correctly. I boughts two eyebrows from Forrest as my L-2 utilized a BC-12 exhaust and was not correct. The gentleman who did the restoration did a nice job of adapting the exhaust and forced air, but it just wasn't correct and I wanted to make it right. Never got around to it before I sold her.Cheers,
Marty

Re: Open Cowl Cont. Air Intake f/ Carb/Cab. Heat
Howard,
There has got to be someone here, or Forrest, that would know the correct way. I know when I was there last year he had the open cowls for the early models and I know he would be aware of the correct install. Try e-mailing him with your Foundation number in the subject line. With the fly-in over he will hopefully have some time, though probably not much.Cheers,
Marty

Re: Open Cowl Cont. Air Intake f/ Carb/Cab. Heat
Howard,
Don't use the L-2 setup with blast tubes off back of eyebrows. B series has different setup. I will send you some photos of ours. (It may not be original Tcraft. Maybe copied from cub. But gives optimal cylinder cooling.)Terry Bowden, formerly TF # 351
