Anyone know where I can get .020" mild steel sheet? (i.e. 1010)
Rebuilding the fin, 4130 is a bear to bend. (besides, the blue prints call for 1010)

I can't seem to find it listed with the usual aircraft & steel suppliers.

    Thanks,

Try metal supermarket - they sell small quantities to walk-ins.

You probably need 24 gauge which is .0239" thick. Won't be certified though.

I use Lowe's or the local heating & cooling guy. Chevy & Ford fenders are 1010.
