Re: Harry's STILL at the factory

While in doing the morning 3 S's, and got to thinking about this deal with Harry, D&E, and Taylorcraft. and it boils down to this

Birds of a feather flock together!! The fact that D&E and their Manangement team didn't do what they indicated they were going to do, and finally defaulted on the previous orders placed and paid for at Taylorcraft, then
keeping Criminal Harry on in whatever capacity he is in, fully knowing what he had been done in the past over the past 4 years or more, "TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE"

Who in thier right mind would do that? Answer? only those taking care of their own thats who.

Did you loose cash or did you get loose before that happened?

          Re: owner warning document

Your letter seems very good to me. My only possible critique would be the use of the word "suspicion". We don't want to invite any legal action against us.

I don't understand why the Foundation and/or Owner's Club is not coming forth to sponsor this mailing. Don't they represent us?

            Re: owner warning document

This statistic might highlite the gravity of the problem and could be added to the letter if you thought wise.. There are over 3000 Taylorcrafts still on the registry. In order to keep these planes airworthy, as ordered by the FAA, each owner will have to spend approximately $2500, or a total cost to the fleet of seven and a half million!

This Summation Is Perfect, And Chet's Addition Worth Adding.

amout, about just under 1000 dollar, sure was glad to get my suspension
back, before all this happen,so i know what everyone feel like toward the
                factory,as i dealt with alot of company,for part,aircraft,auto part,factory
shouldn't even be in bussness as long as it has.

I think that the foundation should be inform of what to do,as they
would have gone threw this situation before.

                    Darryl, I think it's D&E Aircraft, not A&E.

The reason I put in names is because without the names it would be too easy for Heckle and Jeckle to simply start a new company or corporation with a different name... and claim that it's a clean slate.

When a new company named Kleptomania Aviation, LLC is formed and they issues a press release on $9000 Titanium struts, a potential customer should be informed enough to do an inquiry on whether that company is owned or operated by Heckle, or Jeckle, or their wives, or their cousins.

Chet, impressive statistic. Wasn't there a quote about the struts by Harry in (aviation news?) saying that someone was going to make a lot of money on the struts? That too would be useful.
Not sure the statistic would fit in my "Owner Warning" document. Maybe. EDIT: Just found the spot where it would fit in nicely. I'll put it in.

I think it would be powerfull in a document showing how poorly the FAA handled the situation and how they simply rubber stamped something that everything points to being an obvious bid to make a bunch of money.

Bill Berle, myself, or someone else here could easily put together a specific document for presentation to the people investigating the FAA. Plenty of juicy material. Would be a piece of cake.
                      Darryl

I wasn't aware of anyone that was actually investigating the FAA MIDO OFFICE in SAT, however it needs to be! that is why I went to Washington on this, but apparently it didn't have enough clout to get a full blown investigation going, Jim Inholf is a advocate of general Aviation, and is a friend to us, but apparently under the circumstances he didn't push it. He aske for an explaination in my behalf and got a 4 page side step from the office there. I was very disappointed. Its clear to me that the MIDO Representative that was in charge of inspections at Taylorcraft was coverning for Harry, why?? well who knows, ? I've got my suspicions, but
really can't prove anything. All you have to do is look at the circumstances that surrounded this whole deal, and it becomes very apparent. And yes there is a quote out there where Harry did mention how much money was to be made with the strut deal, I think it was back when the Foundation management and he were at odds, not sure exactly on it, but I think that is right

Ill get in touch with Washington again on this, and at least bring him up to date on what is going on, and how many folks are beginning to get together on this, attention to the forum would be helpful for him. I'll call today
I think we can get some help, only if our representatives can see how broad the damage is and has been in the past, and how the continuing saga of this nightmare exists, they might help.

If you have a problem with 'suspicion' try 'alleged', instead. Might work better for you.

ONE JUICY QUOTE FROM THAT ARTICLE THAT WAS IN SOUTHERN AVIATOR
                              BY HARRY

Why would they go to this extreme?" Ingram wrote. "Greed. If the factory wasn't in business they could create an environment very similar to the Piper Cub lift strut Airworthiness Directive. Let's do some math: 3,000 Taylorcrafts, $2,500 for a new set of lift struts equals $7,500,000."

Now, what you do is get an A/D put out there, protect it by making sure that no one else is or has the authority to build the parts, have a couple of IN'S at the local MIDO, and you are off to a good old american compiracy to make bucks DBA "SCAM"

One of these days somebody’s going to “Curb Stomp” Harry. I didn’t lose any money so it won’t be me. I am still shocked that he has gotten away with as much as he has. He is a very smooth talker and I bet that has a lot to do with it.

The letter is a very nice thing to do for the safety and support of your fellow flyers. This website was the only thing that saved me from losing what little flying money I have. And for that thank you.

I would be honored to sign your petition!

And if Harry runs south… I am very familiar with Central America and Mexico. I would be happy to do an intl. round-up!

Thanks for all you guys help keeping us safe and flying!
