A tad off from the thread subject, but has anyone considered the possiblities of submitting and/or obtaining an AMOC that would allow the
repetitive 48 month strut inspection to be done on the A/C? I've got 3 NDT
labs that have indicated that there is absolutely no compromise in the data
output between on aircraft and off. Considering the possible damage that might occur, and "wear and tear of the lift system" due to increased activity
of R & R ing these, it would see prudent that we consider trying for this?

    Any ideas?

Is there any way to comply with the attach fitting AD without cutting the fabric around the fitting?
