  • need a Shin brake shoe - condition doesn't matter

If anyone has a nasty, corroded, pitted brake shoe laying around and want to give it away or sell it for a few bucks I'll take it. It must still be in the proper shape, but surface corrosion or pitting is ok.

I have one I can send to you. It happens to be a shoe that I used to do test application of GunKote (which works great I might add).

If you plan to make an owner produced part to match it, perhaps we can discuss making an extra pair?

PM me with your address and I'll mail it to you.

I'm going to take it down to a fabrication shop that does odd jobs for me. I'm going to have them make me a new set. Of course, the more the better in terms of pricing. So if anyone else wants in let me know.

Mark, I'll PM you with my address to send it.

I called them this morning before I posted. They charge $45 per shoe but you have to send in your shoes and they make new ones to match.
