    Howdy Dan!
I'm not exactly close to Huntsville, but its always nice to talk.

There are a handful of Taylorcraft owners in Greater San Antonio, another handful in Greater Houston, and several scattered more or less up and down IH35. Several other owners check in from around the Republic, so I figure someone closer to Huntsville will probably chime in.

I have a flying BC12-D and an F-19 (serial #15) waiting to be restored. Presently working on a BC12-D with Doc at the Bulverde airport (1T8)

My wife and I bought our plane as a basket case in 1985 and have been flying it since 1986. It followed us through our last ten years in the USAF to Arkansas, Ohio, Texas, Georgia, and finally back to Texas. I have not flown to East Texas is about a year, but I sometimes use Conroe as a gas and go, and have stopped in to LaPorte and spend overnight in Baytown occasionally where I have family. I lived in North Texas for a year while working for Link (flight simulators) and had the Taylorcraft at NW Regional for a while.

    So back to you.

I'm about 50 miles east of Horizon Airport T-27 which is on the eastern edge of the El Paso metro area, and 18 miles southwest of Dell City Mini., 2E5.
