Thanks, makes sense, sounds somewhat similar to the car jack scheme.

Your first post sounded so trivial I wondered where you got the strength from.

Now I see, clever. Piper tools were similar, ie. a lever, but they used a metal hook instead of a cord.

No need for expletives, we spend our money on what is important to us. That's how it is supposed to be.

I need one of Dave's bungee tools as I almost lost some fingers last time I tried the job without one. BUT - I live in England. Does anyone know how I can contact him or Dave, if you read this, will you ship one to the UK?

Sure I can ship to UK but I am in the process of moving and everything is either packed up or already moved and more than 500 miles away.

I won't be up an running again until July.

Hi,

This week I got the garage unpacked enough that I can access welders, cutters, tumblers and use them.

I am a little behind though, expected to be in this state 10 days ago.

Have death in family, wife's mom died earlier in the week but expect next week to be doing/making stuff.

Hope you can hang on, I am getting there.

At last! At last!

I am making bungee tools again.
