    Re: TC Factory news?

    Bill,

    I just got done seeing that episode on a 3 Stooges marathon! Must have been one of those lost episodes. I think you are a writer for sure (or at least you should be). Nyuck, Nyuck!!!

      Bill,

      That was almost perfect. I think the Marx Brother's law firm was inaccurate. I believe the lawfirm, Duey, Cheatum, and Howe are the chosen counselors.

      Unfortunately, if the script plays itself out again, the factory will ship someone a set of struts (purchased from one of the other suppliers for $1,800.... why else would the factory charge $3,600 ?... they need to mark them up you know, to make a profit) and then folks will start to say again that we need to support the factory.

      Thanks for the levity,

      Jack D

        Or?? why would the factory ship anything, at this point its not to save their reprutation, thats blown, not to sell more parts cause they aren't in business? why buy or sell anything, just keep the money, find another sucker to get it re-financed, and scam more folks. The only way this can be stopped is if the D.A. will file criminal charges and put the guy in jail
        only way!!

            Ya, and not only that but the "welders?? well via the own infamous FAA's
            statement, well they say they are not certified welders, and such but know how to weld?? duh?? I'd bet a dollar to a donut that even if or when there were welders they were south of the border illegals, who knows what background, I don't want my ass hanging on it. nope and our FAA indorsed them right up to the time "he retired"

                    Is that like upside-down, or sideways. I suddenly had this picture of the three stooges in three Taylorcrafts. Scary thought, but funny.

                          Showbiz writers are treated almost as good as new hire airline pilots, A&P mechanics and common sense in certain parts of Oklahoma City. I'd rather be a Taylorcraft LLC stockbroker than a TV writer.

                          Without the writers who have "the guts to face the blank page", NOBODY else in the TV or movie biz up or down the food chain would have anything to do for a living. Everyone else in show business starts with something (and THEN brings something of theirs to the table)... except the writers. They have a blank piece of paper. And they get the short end of the stick almost all the time.

                          Sorry to rant, thanks for the compliment.

                            Bill Berle;
                            About writers... so true. I've done everything in TV from Weatherman, to reporter, disc-jockey, talk show host, political advisor, documentary producer, network executive, on and on... and for 40 years. The basic rooted toughest skill is that of writer and writing. I'm no longer a guild member but I wish them well... in this strike they are quite right. They deserve better.
                            All the other professions (craft and professionals) are built on the backs of writers. Good luck! BUT, everyday you write is a day that is built on luck. The luck that you may tempt the muse to speak just one more time. The luck your brain may pick up the weak and otherwise confusing signal one more time. AND, luck, that you may quickly write it down, not spilling a word, just the way it was divined... not forgetting a thing... just one more time. Good luck... indeed.
                            With regards;
                            ED OBRIEN
