  • Criminal charges against Harry Ingram?

I am ready to to proceed with criminal charges against Harry Ingram. It has taken me seven months to gather the information. He has stolen parts off of my aircraft and I can prove it in court. Conversion, fraud and theft will be the start. My key witness works for the FAA.

I want all parties who have given money to Harry Ingram to call me at 843-559-2222 an give me their stories or email them to me at [email protected]

This man is a nucience to society and a fraud. Plese call if you want to help.

I would not like to dampen your enthusiasm, but have you thought of the following:

      1. Have you retained a lawyer? "Retain" is different from discussing it with a lawyer. Like the pig and the chicken: committment vice involvement.
Are conversion/fraud/theft defined the same in TX as in SC? Are all the elements of each met?

      2. Who has jurisdiction? SC?TX? Fed (interstate commerce)?

      3. What flexibility is the repairshop in TX allowed that you may not be aware of? Can he remove a part from one a/c to try on another? Did he subsequently sell the other a/c? even if he did, was his intention to replace your part? did he have that capability?

      4. In the end, what assets does the defendent have? If you sue "Harry INgram" and all his assets are in his wife's name, you win, but nothing happens.

      5. Lot of heresay concerning the factory; someone will have to seperate our appropriate (but without legal standing) complaints from something that will stand up in court.

Mike?? does he have your $3600.00 ?? he has mine, and I have nothing,
doesn't make one feel real good. I'm only one of many many, that have
been down this road, its getting very old. All I want is my parts, but I have
serious quesitons as to whether they will come, in fact they won't in time for me to get my A/C back up and flying after an annual so I'm going on to
plan 2, thence on, I can and will be supportive of who ever can stop this
type of extorsion. We were promised a weekago that us "customers" would
have our "cue in the lineup and info on when our parts would ship" on Dec
14th, as with the rest of the promisses, that time came and went with nothing, no followup, no explaination, nothing. Not the way to win friends
and operate the old business I would say huh?

J stall Just curious since you will not accept my direct e-amail , or call the Foundation ; how bad were your old struts and if they were okay why get "new" ones.
I have been doing this business for 49 years and don't ship the parts till I have a method of payment in hand ; BUT do not charge the account till the apart(s) are on the way. Did you pay in full up front?? If you used a credit card then you have a easy out pull the money back.
Tom called me about this thread, I would like to see it used to alert others of Tom's suit and they can form another group off forumn to act in unision. Please use it for that or we will close the thread.
I just do not understand with the history for the company why anyone would front money...... ( especially a professional pilot) I too have been calling the factory numbers since last Thursday. Andy wll be out of the office till first week in Jan. ; it is my understanding that Joe Perez will retire the first week of Jan.. not stirring the pot just stating facts as I see them. YES winter is here in NE Ohio, first blast is hitting now...

                Forrest:

Don't know why my email server isn't putting your email thru, I haven't seen anything from you for awhile, however used too, I've sent several to you and about 4 weeks ago you and I visited via telephone. Yes as a dumb A>>>>
I sent a check, and screwed myself, why, haven't a clue, should have known better, just as Tom said, he too was taken in by Harry, so at least I'm not the only sucker, anyway, its a bad deal at best, FAA's position here
??? boy, don't know, lots of questions, they sure are supportive of Harry
and if what Joe told me is true?? there where are the parts, just doesn't make any sense. Try to send another email, I'll also send one to you right now to see if it goes, my cell is 580 327 7047
On my struts, haven't check yet, I'm hopeing they will pass ok, as for why I jumped on the band wagon on new ones?? just panicked, didn't think it thru
thought I would be out in the cold unless I got an order in and got in the cue.
Learned an expensive and valuable lesson

Well, considering what a semester of college costs these days maybe it was a lot of learning per dollar...

On the plus side ,its not over yet.

It will take years to fill all the strut orders that will probably be placed and the factory may want to be in on that, its a big revenue source.

So they may turn out struts soon.

So perhaps there is hope for your sitiuation given a little more time.

Maybe, I hope so for the sake of all involved.

Yes you are absolutely right, and I hope that it works out, and it could, but give the past history?? well lets say we will just have to watch and see. I would be one of the 1st to try and help his image, and to try and help things change if he would? We need the factory, and the tooling to help support our hobby, but we need someone who is both knowledgeable and honest in their dealings operating it. Eitherway, I've got to get my annual finished up, which requires the struts to be changed or inspected, so 1st move is to have them inspected, and if they pass, and I really think they will, then I'm ok for 4 years, if not, then I'll have to purchase a good used factory strut
or struts, or a new set from one of the competitors. Redundent but could be necessary.

Taking money on a credit card with-out the ability to ship is fraud, credit companies will help you in this respect. Fortuneatly my credit card company refused an unusal charge of $3400 weeks ago. When I found out the problem I canceled the order and the credit card number. Placed the order with another company, for imediate delivery, saved $1400. See attached picture. This is a very sad problem, mostly communications.
