  • wing tank brace wires BC-12D

I searched the forum archives and can't find exactly what I need. The question is: How does one remove the wires that go through the wing tank? I have the fabric on the top of the tank cut away and can see that one end of the wire hooks onto the inboard butt rib and the other I learned goes into the third wing bay. which end gets loosened? Does it unscrew? Is the tension critical during re-installation? I looked through the T-craft manuals I have and they provided no useful info at all.
    Thanks.

I unscrew both ends of course to take the wires out inboard. YES the tension is critical that starts the trammeling of the wing. wrap the nipples with small rubber bands or string to prevent them from dropping back into the compression strut when the wires are out
