Again, another strut question
I have ordered a set of Airframe Inc. struts. After installation does it just require a log book entry, or does it require a 337 to be submitted to the FAA? I will appreciate any info you guys can provide....Thanks Don

Mine came with the STC and instructions for log book entry. Mt AME will do it once install is complete.Comment

According to the definition of an STC can't imagine an STC that requires a log entry only and not a 337 yet that is what Airframes Inc. claims so reading it would be interesting and educational.

§ 21.113 Requirement of supplemental type certificate.
Any person who alters a product by introducing a major change in type design, not great enough to require a new application for a type certificate under §21.19, shall apply to the Administrator for a supplemental type certificate, except that the holder of a type certificate for the product may apply for amendment of the original type certificate. The application must be made in a form and manner prescribed by the Administrator.Comment
