  • Another Strut Question

Can someone explain to me in plain english, how I can tell if I have sealed or non-sealed struts. Were sealed struts available in the 1940's or were these made at a later date. I have searched all the past forums and cannot find a DIRECT ANSWER to this question

If they are not new struts from Univair purchased after 1995 or '96(approx. date ask Univair for exact date) or new from Taylorcraft (who has made no deliveries yet) or new from Airframes inc then they are not sealed.

IF you are the old Dan Carlson that I know, show up at "Saloon night" and I will explain it real slow so you understand. If they have holes, they are not sealed. last reply was good too!
