    Does anyone know what aircraft uses Cleveland 3050 6 x 600 and what they are worth?

    Hi Tom,

    Those wheels are used with the Cleveland mechanical drum brakes. They are used on many Champs, many Luscombes and a few Taylorcrafts. The Cleveland part numbering system can be confusing. The original wheels were identified as "DMB". These were magnesium and had a recurrent 100 hr AD for cracks. The later replacement wheels (3050, 3050A and 3040) are aluminum and not subject to the AD.

    Value is hard to pin down. The DMB wheels seem to bring more... maybe $100-150 each, maybe a bit more. I guess it really just depends on what someone is willing to pay. Do they have brake drums attached? The condition of the brake drums would make a big difference in price as the replacement stuff from Cleveland is priced absurdly high...
