Re: strut inspector
marc,
Are you looking to get the struts inspected? I've been too busy to get mine done, but have been told that Columbia Helicopter might be able to do it. DON'T call them though.......I'll find out through my "guy" and get back to you know if you're interested.

Re: strut inspector in Oregon
I have my struts off the plane and ready for testing. It is Columbia Helicopters at Aurora that will do the test, but apparently there's a strict protocol for dealing with them. You can't just call them up or drop them off. I don't want to screw up that souce, so my IA is going to hand walk me through. I'll give you the rundown hopefully in a few days.
marc,
I'm usually in redding california, at least for the forseeable future, how far are you from there?

Re: strut inspector in Oregon
Gang,
I just heard from fellow Oregon TCrafter, Tim Rawlins, that Flightcraft at PDX will do the strut tests for about $75 a strut. Tim says talk to Jeff Howe there (503-331-4272).
Still don't know the full scoop on Columbia yet, but it sounds like they're not anxious to deal with a bunch of individuals, so Flightcraft is probably the place to go.
Thanks Tim!!
