I don't have any connection to UNIVAIR except I send them money to buy parts.
I am probably their smallest customer.
I run a small business rebuilding Aeronca oleos and case frames so I buy my parts for that from UNIVAIR (and occasionally parts for other jobs I do).
Sometimes their prices are a little higher, BUT they have the part, you don't have to wait 3 months for it!
Ever notice that the guy with the great price doesn't have the part? If UNIVAIR's price seems high I mention that when I notice it.
If it is just to high I buy elsewhere, that doesn't happen very often and yes competition is good and keeps prices in line.
I always feel like they want my business, small as it is and I like that.
But they are our neighbors and partners so to speak in this antique aviation infatuation that we have.
When it came time to get my struts I bought from UNIVAIR and am happy that I did.
Keep it up the good work UNIVAIR!
Dave
