Re: Quieting a gasoline driven compressor?
Speaking only for myself, I was talking about a three foot square brick or cinder block noise enclosure that had a "maze" entrance and exit path for air/exhaust and cooling. I was not telling Mike to be sitting inside that enclosure breathing all that, or having the noise box inside his house.
My suggestion assumed that wherever his compressor was, was already "not in the house", and we were just talking about containing the noise.
Mike, in my best attorney-driven liability-fueled bright yellow warning label voice... Caution: Do not use compressor in any enclosed space such as a garage or house without adequate ventilation!
