"Looks like maybe Taylorcraft LLC bit the dust? Just tried calling both voice phone numbers AND the FAX number and they have been disconnected. Time to move on. "

Maybe the Taylorcraft Foundation could end up with it? Like Luscombe did.

Last weeks extreme weather across America has delayed our second strut shipment, we should receive material in the next forty-eight hours and can complete and ship four sets per day. I will send tracking information asap, we will call and confirm order with ship date and ship to: information on Wednesday. Thank you, Harry

        Happy New Year,
After latest drawing revision's are approved by the FAA, we will finely start shipping new lift struts this week, I want to think all our customers for their support over the the last four months. Last month we started negotiations with an investment group that wants to build up our part's inventory and re-start aircraft production in 2009, I will release details asap. We will be using BAX Global for most of the strut shipments, I will e-mail you with their contact information, tracking numbers and ship dates. We are adding a photo gallery to our web-site to help new owners get familiar with Taylorcraft's, please e-mail photo's of your aircraft, rebuild project, old service bulletins, installation instructions, inspection techniques, anything that might be helpful, model D and L-2's welcome to: www.taylorcraft.com Thanks, Harry

I just don't understand? why would he keep sending these emails then not

That's just the way he does business. He strung me along like this for months. Looks like 3 years have gone buy but nothing has changed.

Just a thought, perhaps he is delivering but only to people who are not on this forum?

I guess it could be that way, he appears to have no friends here.

There are people outside this forum that have t-crafts, maybe they are happy?

Well, it's like this: Imagine you went to a restaurant, got a steak dinner, then walked out without paying and got away with it. You sent the restaurant an e-mail, saying you're sorry about the delay in payment, but they will be receiving the money next week, and because of that e-mail the restaurant let you come in for ANOTHER steak dinner.

A week later you send them ANOTHER e-mail saying you just got your new checks from the bank, and they will be getting the payment for two dinners... next week.

So you go in and eat ANOTHER steak without paying, and send out ANOTHER e-mail with ANOTHER excuse.

Pretty soon you realize that some restaurants will apparently let you pay for your food with e-mails.

Now, would YOU stop sending out e-mails to the restaurant?

To quote Lt. Columbo the great TV detective: "Oh, just one more thing..."

There are probably one or two lawyers in our group if I recall. I have a question for them; at what point in this continuum of fraudulent behavior has or would Mr. Ingram's behavior have gone from civil to criminal?

If one looks at just a few of the apparent ingredients in this recipe:

                  Fraudulent practices in general
                  Interstate Commerce fraud
                  Mail/Wire fraud (internet)
Intentional misrepresentation of facts involving the above
Involving the US Government in potentially fraudulent activity
Coercion, Conversion, Subversion and Perversion (sorry Reverend Jackson)
Theft and resale of stolen property (customer airplane parts)
Damaging or Disabling a federally registered civil aircraft

At some point does this not trip some arbitrary switch where there are handcuffs involved as opposed to a civil suit?

I think some members of this group would sincerely want to know where the threshold of criminal charges is in this soap opera.

I have often wondered, why doesn't Harry just work a deal with Univar or Wag-Aero to make the struts and drop ship them to the owners. Seems like a good idea, OH, but wait, Univar and Wag-Aero knows better than to do business with Harry, I too am waiting for parts, Harry said I was very patient, WELL, what else could I be??? LNS

Just checking in after the all day rain, got a new jump ship ( Cessna 182 ) in yesterday, been busy.

The Foundation nor the e-mail to myself that is registered on the factory web site never got that e-mail.....
I did have a good conversation with the FAA ( Andy McAnaul,) and we compared notes on the response to the NPRM that ended on the 9th. My final comments go to him tomorrow. Andy has downloaded our owner comments on results of testing, we need to always document your replies with Model , ser# , and N numbers . The F-19's and newer are clean as hounds teeth.

on Thurs. I did talk with the new to the factory MIDO Safety guy. I will post a synopsis of those conversations tomorrow from the airport where I left my notes. Watching "Close Encounters of the Third Kind "at the moment . & do not want to get wet at 10PM EST.
I was assured that the 4130 steel did come into Brownsville from Plymouth , I was hoping it was not from China . All users of 4130 steel and the FAA are aware of the problems with the China Steel, IT IS NOT up to quality.

The ownership issue is for homeowners only, if you rent, you are not required to own a weapon, it is interesting the counties around here have higher crime rates, but I am sure it has nothing to do with the ownership issue, on no
