    Dan,

Do you have contact info for Great Lakes Testing? Any particular person to deal with?

No. BRL said they don't do them. I went to All American Inspections and they charged 300.

        www.greatlakestesting.com. Ask for Rob

$200 per plane. They did mine the same day, but make sure you set it up ahead of time. They were very accommodating.

I just purchased a 1496 BC12D. The plane has never been on floats and was rebulit in 1992 and since than has been hagared. I got a ferry permit to fly it home and than did a radiograph inspection of the struts. The front strut on the pilot side did not pass. I placed an order for a new strut from Wag Aero and they are back ordered. It has been 9 days since I ordered the strut and it looks like at least another week before it will be shipped.

Looking forward to getting back in the air.
