  • Bungee Tool

Sometime ago I saw a message from someone who builds and sells a bungee tool that works on the BC12D and I can't remember who it was. I need a tool to put new bungees on my tcart. Help! Paul

    Hey Paul,

Have you had any luck on locating a bungee tool? I have one I made, it works great. If you would like to borrow it, let me know.

I have been told that a sissors jack will work. Weld a pin on the top to pull on the bungee and then roll it off when it is streched. I have one that I am going to modify. Could probably pick a jack up at the junkyard for a few bucks.

                Re: Bungee Tool

A few years back I mentioned a easy way to replace bungees if the windshield was off the airplane. A 2x4 accross the top with a come-along and a bent hook will pull up the bungees allowing them to be easily slid off the hook onto the support. Worked very well for me.

Carl Rigdon, my phone died since we last spoke so I lost your phone. Check your PM. Thanks, Larry
