howdy all,i need to replace my fair lead cable guides and need a yoak bearing can any one help thank marc n43643

On the later models they used the correct size phenolic tube (paper base) cut to the correct length and bonded in place with contact adhesive like 3M 1300L.

Which later models? Was there an E.O. to do this, I still like the original OR modified Piper stuff..... just asking and by "they" you mean??

It is on an E.O. at Taylorcraft. It is applicable to all models according to the E.O. so I used that as approved data on repairs at the factory.

Modifying the Piper inserts is a good idea too.
