  • Wood stringer

    Hey all,
Does anyone have an extra wood fus stringer for an early BC12D that they would be willing to sell? One of mine is broke in half. All others are in great shape. Looking for the lower left side.

    Thanks,

    Re: Wood stringer

Why don't you want to splice it? It gives these old airplanes character and it was done all the time back in the good old days.

      Re: Wood stringer

I have some. I'm thinking of going with metal stringers on my project.
Where are you located? If you're close, just stop by and I'll give you one....if it's a long way, it probably wouldn't be economically feasible to ship.

I am unfortunatly in Ohio, so I am not close by. The one we have is spliced right now(and rather badly). Just checking out my options.
