Starting today, new memberships to the Taylorcraft Forum will need to be reviewed and approved before the new member will be able to post anything. This process can take up to a week depending on my work load. Tucker and I are the final decision makers.
Tucker has been known to take bribes.
There have been a high number of bogus and suspect member signups in the past 2 weeks leading up to the posting of pornographic photos. There are now some automatic protections in placel.
If your buddies tell you that they can't get approved, tell them they need to do a better job filling out the application. Incomplete or misleading information will give me reason to reject them. Also some email providers block the receipt of our confirming emails (hotmail seems to be the worst of them).
I want to also remind you all to keep your profile updated and complete. If I suspect you are a spammer and your profile is bogus looking, your email is wrong, then your membership will be deleted if I happen to be in a crappy mood.
I dont like to do this, I have enough to do already. I want to keep this place comfortable for everyone, including teenagers interested in Taylorcraft.
