Auto Gas Stc F/ Lyc. 0-145???

Does anyone have an auto gas STC for their Lycoming 0-145?

Well, you know, there are only two places where you can go for an auto stc, EAA or Petersen. Try those two places.

For what it's worth, I had a pre war Aeronca with the Lyc 145 and I was told that I didn't need one because the TCDS on that engine didn't specify a particular fuel. I think it was certified with anything that had an octane above 73. But don't take my word for it.

I had checked EAA; the 0-145 isn't on their list. I'll try Peterson, and do a little more research on your 'doesn't need one' theory. I like that one the best :-) Howard

Ok, Found Petersen on the web. The Lyc. 0-145; looks like most iterations, are STC'd for auto fuel. $1/hp. Learn something new every day. Howard
