    Further questions

Any idea where I could get a service and parts manual for the F21B? If not, is it safe to assume that a service and parts manual for one of the older models would work for the majority of the systems?

Also, my IA was wondering if anyone had details on what the aileron cable tension is supposed to be? Any specific measurments or is it just a 'feel' thing?

Hmmm I hope the educator understands old Forrest does really love repeating stuff, that is how one learns. I learn every day. Many of my replies are tongue in cheek. I have really only totally blew off about three people on this list over the years....
Your Ship N95645 was test flown by Reese Chester Edwards, (Commercial Lic# 200891, a product of the CPT elementary course Grove City, Pa.) on 4-27-46 for 55 mins..
.she was one of seven that he flew that day.
Reese has gone west just recently & this widow gave his logs to the Foundation. Someday I will get you a copy? Then we can start getting her up to snuff...... my daughter just posted your application into the Big book....

I didn't know you had that historical stuff.Anything you have time to send would be welcome. I didn't sense you were all that put out. 95645 has had a lot of work done over the past 4 years and has more to go. I've gotten a lot out of the forum and print out pages of info from the forum for my IA who is in another world. Thanks for your help in moving 645 closer to snuff.

ps. I updated my profile--"educator" sounded a stuffy for a high school social studies teacher.

Educator was very fine with me... One should use what one is most proud of being. Ben Franklin of all things that he could have chosen; Founder, Orator, Statesman, Inventor, etc... chose for his tombstone "PRINTER" night , night Forrest
