New Taylorcraft Pilot

After purchasing my Tcraft from Crispy Critter last November, and the weather finally getting above 40 degrees here in Minnesota my 17 year old son, private on his birthday last July, Seaplane rating in August and now his tailwheel endorsement in the Tcraft has finished the 10 hours of dual required by my insurance company for him to fly it. Know I'm going to have to ask him for the keys!!!

To think the airplane was built 43 years before he was born!

Joe,
You should give my dad a call.....he certinly knows how you feel.I soloed on my 16th b-day,private on my 17th. I flew my first "legal" solo x-country the same day I did my first "legal" solo(which was on my 16th b-day). All this was done in a 1948 C-170. Glad to hear T-Rex is doing good.
