This document says 18 foot-pounds for the prop bolts on a wooden prop. But I am going to call the prop tech rep to be sure. I am also going to check to see if I have the large holes on the back of the prop that others have warned me about.
With the wooden props, that have been around for years, the proper way has always been to count the revolutions and keep them equal. We used to install paper shims for tracking... It just makes good sense to avoid this re-torquing to a certain value that will change all the time with a wood prop and temp & humidity. I do not have the specific call out from the handbook but will get it after Sun-n-Fun, bring it up at the forumn down there and I will have it with me.... bye Forrest
