When my wings were put together in Texas they were put together with the aileron cables coming out of the wing root on five inch centers. The guides for the cables on the fuselage are on one inch centers. Trailing edge ribs 3, 4, and 5 were replaced from my original ribs and do not allow the cable to come together on one inch centers to go through the fuselage guides. I need to know how to rebuild my wings so the aileron cables can fit through fuselage guides that are only one inch appart.
THEY have to go into fuselage the correct way, ( five inch)I talked with you
about this I will talk with Bob Harer the instant I get back from the conference.
You must have not gotten your complete airplane back from Brownsville in the same form it went there.
Explain to the group your Ser# and what happened , If the ship was complete and flying at one time, that is how it has to be rebuilt....
check with Harry Ingram, owner of Taylorcraft, Brownsville, Tx..
Did THEY do welding on your fuselage down there? taht is the only way the cables fairings could ahve been altered. I am out of town till Wed. Good Luck!
