Paint stripper

I have some 50 year old zinc chromate that refuses to be removed with normal paint stripper, the top coats came off easy. Does anyone have a favorite brand that works really well? It's an aluminum surface and I don't want to scratch it.

why remove it? try normal stripper under 70 degrees F , cover with Saran Wrap, pray.
