    Thanks for the great link! I'm glad to know a Chummy still exists. I didn't think any were left.

      Reading the posting on the orange-and-? Taylorcraft got me to looking at pictures of orange and black airplanes. I came across this Monocoupe 70:

      Looks alot like the Taylor Chummy.

        Like the link says, the plane was one of five, not sure if this one is a real chummy or a replica. This one is hanging in the Rochester International Airport Terminal. The EAA chapter in the area rebuilt/ built this one as a hombuilt training aid. A good friend of mine, who got me into flying - Earl Luce is a member of that chapter and has fabricated many aircraft, including Wittman Tailwinds and the only currently flying replica of Wittman's Buttercup. He worked on this chummy when the club was doing it.

          It is a "replica".... I followed the project. As did the Taylor family.
