Any private strips near St. Pete in FL?

I am getting ready to move to St. Petersburg, I will be leaving my BC12-D and my 2200' strip behind, until I can find a place to keep it. I would feel better keeping it at a private grass field, rather than a delta class or larger airport.


Otherwise I guess I'll just drive or fly up to my place in OH whenever I want to fly it.

Loves Landing

I have heard a lot of talk about a place in that area called Loves landing. Fellow drives up from ft Myers to keeps his plane there!

Try for Manatee cty airport (48X). A grass strip and very close to St Pete. Once there you could look around in the local area for a private strip.
