lower metal stringer tabs

I am in the final stages of repair on my BC12D fueselage. The welded tabs where the wood stringers attach to the frame around the bungie cord area. Actually it is a wood strip that the stringers attach to. Two are broken . I will weld on new ones but have a question. Each tab has two holes on them It appears that on the BC12D only the lower hole was used to attach to the wood strip. Was this wrong and does anyone have a picture of the correct wood set up. I thought I saw it onec on Captain Bobs web site but the site is no more.

You are correct in the lower tabs are the only holes used. I could send a pic to you tommorrow if you need it.
