Tribe- After months sitting on top of a dozer, loader, and tractor my little airstrip is done. I have a whopping 950ft. uphill one way runway but it is mine. I spread 350 pounds of fescue a ton of fertilizer and was greeted by lots of rain the following day. Next winter comes the hanger and the cabin overlooking the pond for you guys to stay in! I'll attach some photos as soon as I get home and get some time to fly- I am on a trip until Friday.

Re: Bully Field is DONE!
You will love your own strip. I've had one on and off for 12 years. First a 150, now a cub and in the near future it will have a t-craft hanger mate. The only down side is when it rains every fouth or fifth day and all you get done is mow the over grown grass, sitting on the tractor wishing you were flying.Thats what happened here last summer, more hour on the 656IH than on the cub. George LL52 is the identifier.Last edited by flybikefarm; 02-26-2007, 13:54.TF# 702 Don't be afraid to try something new. Remember amatuers built the ark, professionals built the titanic!

Re: Bully Field is DONE!
I'll be looking foward to bringing the Baby Ace up when she is back on her feet! That will be a GREAT day trip from Columbia SC. Great job and well done . I need to bring Patti up ther and show her how nice it is. We are looking for land around here to do something similar. She "needs" the space for her english breed show Labs she raises. I "need" the space for other "loftier" things .

AT last! You are one of the fortunate ones, your very own runway. Be careful out there. Hope to pop in one day!Taylorcraft Foundation, Inc
