  • picture day for N43122!

    went flying today out in the desert and landed on an old WWII auxiliary bomber strip.

    Beautiful day today (not a cloud in the sky for over 200 miles) so I brought the camera along and snapped off these

              places and pics like that are what the sweet memories are made from. I used to fly a lot by myself and those were some of the moments that i wished i could share. thanks for sharing. jim.

                Where is that? I spent a year at Riddle in Prescott and did some flying in my grandpa's 180 while I was there. Looks like familiar country.

                  it's about 5 miles southeast of the old Williams Air Force Base (IWA). It's an old field from the 40's where bombers would train.
