Just got a new set of front lift struts for my DC - 65, and am looking for suggestions on what to use to coat the insides so these will last 60 years like the first set. All suggestions welcome. Thanks guys !!

      Re: Corrosion Prevention

I prefer CorrosionX. The airlines use this stuff by the barrel. It stops any existing corrosion, and then builds a film to stop any new corrosion. Google thier web site for more info. It costs about a 100 bucks a gallon, but you can just buy a couple of quarts to "slosh" your struts. It's available at A/C Spruce, or you can buy it directly from them.
