Springs, anyone?

I made springs for my glove box doors (photos) yesterday. But, the smallest quantity of music wire I could buy made over a dozen springs...I need two.

Could anyone use a couple glove box springs? Send me your address on the PM and I'll mail them to you.

Bob I agree with Richard, your web site is awsome. I have one glove box in need of set of springs. However as I write this I am thinking, who knows, by the time I get to putting the T-Bird back together I may put both boxes back in. Right now there is a recording tach sitting where the left one would go. Put me down for two sets, let me know what I owe you and I will get it on the way. Thanks Larry Lyons

I ran out of springs, but I'll be making another batch this weekend if I can still get the music wire.

Several folks have offered to pay for them, but the cost to make these little things is only about 12 cents each, so I'm just sending them out free.

An observation: there's lots of interest in glove box springs. That tells me there's lots of T-Craft restoration going on and much of it is preserving the look of the original panel. That's certainly a trend we should encourage!
