On Saturday I picked up the replacment for it and it does the same thing.
Quit after about 1 hr or so.
Have anyone exerince this or other proplems with the Lowrance units ?

That same thing has happened to my Garmin 396. Try removing the batteries for a second.

My Lowrance has only about an hour operation on it's internal batteries. Works great with an external gel cell -- draws about 0.4 amps with the bright display -- less without, but can't read it with the glare from the windows.

I did remove the batteries put it takes about 10 to 12 hr for it to discharge any capasitors holding the memory. Not an easy fix in flight.
The unit function well for 1.5 hr or so.
I am going back to Aircraft Spruce in the morning and possibly getting a Garmin 96 instead. Len

            Re: GPS problems!

Today I went to Lowrance in Toronto and had the Lowrance 600 c reset.
A hard reset is dune by pressing Power and Pages simultaniuse for 5 sec.
This information is not in the manual!
Today I have played with it for 2 hr and so far it is Ok.(;f
If you planning on purchase one or have one, wright down this info!
