  • Taylorcraft speed record

I was out flying this morning and thought I would give my airspeed indicator a check. Well, what a surprise I was going 1267 mph.

I don't know what kind of engine or fuel your running but I want some of it!!!!! Might want to check your wing attachments and spars for stress cracks. I belive you too,I can see where you were going so fast it peeled the paint off the panel.lol

That is the problem with trying to keep the original 13th century measuring instruments into the 21st century. My normal cruise is 40,000 nanometers per microsecond. And, believe it or not, it only took 2,153,600,000,000,000,000 nanoseconds for my FSDO to approve the panel upgrade.
