Are the landing vee rubber bumpers Part B 901 available anywhere?
If not, what are members using as a substitute?

I think most are using axe handle protectors. google IMAGE search "axe handle protectors" You'll see photos of them used on Tcrafts for that purpose

      Lowell:

Click here. Then about half way down that page, click again on the "Gear Return Bumpers" link. Pictures of and how to make gear return bumpers out of axe handle protectors from, ah, AerospACE hardware.

That Axe handle pad is a great way to go but another suggestion might be to get a piece of 3/4 in conveyor belt and skive it on the ends leaving the middle thick enough to provide the padding necessary. The original ones appear to be made from a material known as Fabrica, it comes in varying thicknesses and could be skived the same way using perhaps a belt sander and a simple jig. I say this because these materials are fabric reinforced and can be screwed or rivited as they are in the original design. Just a thought
