  • Display your Foundation membership ID

I would like to ask that everyone that has a active membership in the Taylorcraft Foundaion take a few minutes to put their their "TF" number into their user profile here on the Forum.

    Its easy to do..

    1. click on "User CP" menu on the blue bar at the top of the page. (Ok, the software developers mean its the User Control Panel, thats what CP stands for...)

    2. click on "user profile"

    3. In the text box for "Custom USer Title" type in TF# and your membership number.

    4. scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on "save changes"

Thats it! Display your membership proudly and encourage others to join in and support the Foundation.

    Thanks!

Re: Display your Foundation membership ID

Thank you Bob, Laura was catching up the Foundation today and this was noticied by her too!!
I use that TF# in message headers to look them up in the manual files. It makes it a lot easier to know who is who since a lot of folks refuse to use their names on the internet. I am still Forrest Barber, thank you Bob Ollerton.
I don't check private messages a lot since it is better to archive direct messages at the airport. I have been working for four hours tonight at home on the high speed but do not have the Taylorcraft pictures & stuff over here to forward to people . THAT has to be done from the Barber Aircraft office.
    Will try to call tomorrow...

      Dear brother Norm.

Your procedure would add the beloved TF# to your signature text that appears at the BOTTOM of your postings.

What I suggested will display it in its proper place of glory and righteousness, just below your name at the TOP of your postings.

      Either is better than neither.

Its all a matter of where your are more comfortable; being a top, or a bottom.

But then since you moved maybe its neither either.

      Over to you.

      bob.

Re: Display your Foundation membership ID

            bob,
I clicked on "User CP", but I don't see "user profile" anywhere on that page.
            This is what I see:

            Control Panel
            Settings & Options
            Edit Signature
            Edit Email & Password
            Edit Profile
            Edit Options
            Edit Avatar
            Private Messages
            Folders
            Inbox
            Sent Items

            List Messages
            Send New Message
            Edit Folders
            Subscribed Threads
            Folders
            Subscriptions

            List Subscriptions
            Edit Folders
            Miscellaneous
            Event Reminders
            Paid Subscriptions
            Buddy / Ignore Lists
            Attachments

What am I missing? I just had my eyes checked and they're supposed to be OK.......maybe my brain isn't working right today.

User CP - > Edit Profile -> scroll down to the last box "Additional Information"

Foundation number is one of the fields. (meanwhile mine is woefully out of date.....)

OLD GREAT one Master Bob of All Creatures Big and Small. Your humble servant Crybaby Stormman here. '
Being the mere mortal that i am ,i believe i do not have the God Box features that you process in the land of the Big PC Master Control panal. As im not worthy and have great fear of the BIG PANEL i am bowing before you and asking of you and your extensive knowledge of the BIG Panal of which you are in total control for assistance to grant me one more wish. As i do not dare to touch the "avatar" or "Killer Deer" slogan that you have so kindly applied for me in the past for fear of destroying such masterful work on your part and to which i cherish above all my other materialistic things, Could you Please position my TF304 number for me? It would be greatly appreciated and posted proudly. Of course "if you teach a man to fish" he will know how to do it in the future but as of now im having extreme brainfade .

Re: Display your Foundation membership ID

Sorry for the screw up, its as mentioned already "edit profile" within the User CP
menu choice. The available place that seems the best place for the TF# is the Custom User Title text box.

Norm, consider it taken care of. I hate to see you suffer more than just a little.

OK! I give up.....I can't find a "Custom User Title" field anywhere. I'm assuming (I know, I know) that I don't have the same interface as you, bob.

My FOUNDATION number is 420. If it shows up in my posted missives, then I will thank the mighty magnanimous and beneficent man behind the curtain with hosannas of profuse and humble gratitude!!

                      yours,
