  • Federal SF-1 Skiis

Does anyone know if the Federal SF-1 skiis are certified for a 46 BC12D? The SF-1 does not appear in the copy of the A-696 that I have. The SF-1 is rated for 750 lbs each.

    Thanks...Homsie

If its not on the TCDS then you have to get it approved as a major alteration on a 337. Dave

They are a good price on ebay. Might be worth the effort. Dave.

I have SC2's and they are definetly very different than the SF's.

The SF's look like A style runners but the pedestal is slightly different.

I searched my entire FAA cd for SF-1 and got no results for skis anywhere.

I noticed on two ebay auctions that on the sf-1 ski data plates there is a PO number that ends in AF. ie. P.O (33-038)45-6150AF

Makes me wonder if these are military skis. Maybe they are described in some old Taylor, Piper, Stinson... miltary manual?
