  • Wing Tank 1941 BC-12

I could use a little guidance on this problem.
The right wing tank on my 1941 BC-12 leaks. Before I take the wing apart I would like to know the probability that I will be able to repair the tank. From what I have read in the "How to replace a wing tank in 236 easy steps" which I downloaded from the Taylorcraft archives the tank is steel. True? Also are there any replacement tanks available or does anyone know where I can find a good used one.
