Tribe, I was digging through old files this morning and found the original factory logs of Taylorcraft NC5136M, S/N 10436. Test flown on 11-1-46 by "SAS". Flown to San Diago, CA 3-5-47 (28:50 hours.)
I have no idea where I got this, probably owned the plane one time in the distant past.
If they will be useful to a genuine owner or restorer, I'll gladly give them away.

    Chet,
N5136M is owned by Kent Wilson of Upland California. If he really still has the plane, I bet he'd love to get the old log books!( I found his name in the FAA files)

I believe Kent Wilson is the infamous Taylorcraft Hoarder of Cable Airport! I spoke to him once. There is a legend that he has 10 or 20 T-crafts in various states of assembly... and that he has been collecting airplanes and parts for years. Nice enough guy if I recall. I'm sure he would want the logs. Contact Cable Airport in Upland, CA, and someone on the field willknow his phone number.

Forrest: Tell Sandy I said hello. You introduced me to him several years ago in Alliance. He test flew my plane.
