Just got a video camera this summer and hadn't had a chance to really try it out unil recently. My girlfriend Molly did most of the filming (I'm getting her a tripod ) I'll see if it works posting it here...

Re: Short Video of my Taylorcraft
Chris,
I thoroughly enjoyed your video. Where did you take off from? Where did you land? What format did you use for posting? I didn't see any video file extensions listed under valid extensions when posting.

Re: Short Video of my Taylorcraft
Molly says thanks for the compliments!
The video is actually of two flights. The lake shots are on Dick Smith's lake in Nikiski. He said I could keep it there for the winter. I've decided to get some new mags so I brought it back to Kenai (the landing at the end). The mountain shots are across the Cook Inlet between the Kustatan and Drift River.
Youtube makes posting the videos easy. I uploaded it in Mpeg format to their site, then just posted the Html code from their site on to the forum.Chris Palm

Re: Short Video of my Taylorcraft
I love it! But I was shivering with chills just looking at that ice
IMHO, consider making up a camera mount that fits on the cross tube behind the seat so you can shoot video without having to hold the camera. Then you can go out and do short field landings in the boondocks... and share the videos with all of us poor wretched city folk.
Thanks and thanks to Molly!
