Model 19 Owner's Manual

Anyone out there have an owner's manual for a 1950's vintage Model 19 that could be copied (1951 Conway PA bird to be exact, Serial #4-13035)? What came with my airplane appears to be a BC-12D manual. Failing that, how about an F-19 manual? At least this would be a Type Certificate 1A9 manual.

I have an F-19 and the operator's handbook isn't that useful. It has basic weight and balance, a description of the aircraft and some minor operational information. There is really no useful performance data other than some V speeds.

You can order a BC-12D maintenance book from a number of sources and maybe that is what you really want. The F-19/Model 19 is pretty much a BC-12D from aft of the firewall with a few beef-ups in the wings and one cross member in the baggage compartment. And of course any Model-19 started life out as a BC-12.

There is info on the taylorcraft.org web-site about the Model-19 with weight and balance info so maybe that will prove helpful.

If you really want it, I would be happy to send you a copy of my operator's manual. Let me know.

here's an Adobe file of the Model 19 manual. As you can see, there isn't much in it. However, it is required by the TCDS to be in the aircraft when your flying.
